NETWORK

The CLEANTECH Initiative Ostdeutschland(CIO) is a network that connects stakeholders from the economic, scientific and political spheres in order to form a powerful East German alliance in the Cleantech field.

The CIO collaborates in different ways with East German Cleantech companies, scientific facilities and a large number of institutions, organisations and networks in order to strengthen the East German Cleantech economy regarding the three CIO areas of activity (3i) – innovation, investment and internationalisation. The members make use of the CIO-offer and the CIO-service and are active regarding the work of the working groups, the formation of co-operations within the scope of international tenders or innovation projects and the presentation of their performances at CIO events, joint stands, at trade fairs or delegation trips. 


The CIO-stakeholders are:

  • CLEANTECH companies along the entire value chain:

             - Consultants and engineers, project developers
             - Manufacturing companies,suppliers of plant technology
             - Construction companies and plant manufacturers
             - Operators
             - Trading companies
             - Other companies

  • Research institutions and universities
  • Institutions, such as ministries, business development corporations and business development agencies.


Benefit from the cross-federal-state and cross-technology networking with economic, scientific and political spheres and use the common synergies as well as the exchange of experience!


CIO maintains contacts with more than 3,000 companies from East Germany, with leading research institutions and other partners. 

The network membership is free of charge.
